Zerion Halloween draw: official rules

Entering is free. Signing in with your wallet is not a transaction: it moves no funds and costs no gas. Buying or trading anything doesn't improve your chances.

When

Entries open Fri, Oct 30, 2026, 12:00 UTC and close Fri, Nov 6, 2026, 24:00 UTC. Winners are drawn Fri Nov 6.

Who can enter

  • People aged 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live if that's higher.
  • Not in a sanctioned country or region.
  • Not Zerion employees, contractors or agencies working on this draw, or their households.
  • The wallet must have made at least one transaction before Fri Oct 30. Brand-new wallets can't enter.
  • On Ethereum and other EVM networks, only regular wallets can enter. Smart-contract wallets (like Safe or Coinbase Smart Wallet) can't.

How to enter

Go to zerion.io/halloween, knock on the door, open the bag, connect a wallet (Ethereum and other EVM networks, or Solana) and sign the short sign-in message it shows. One entry per wallet; entering the same wallet again changes nothing.

Prizes

40 winners share $2,666 in tokens and confidential tokens. Prize values are approximate and move with the market. Some tokens may not be available everywhere; tokenized assets aren't offered to US persons.

Odds depend on the number of eligible entries.

How winners are picked

When entries close, we freeze the list, number the entries from 0 and publish the count and the list's SHA-256 hash. The random value comes from drand quicknet round 33,721,012, a public randomness beacon whose value doesn't exist until Fri Nov 6 at 12:00 UTC. Ticket k is SHA-256(randomness ‖ k) mod the number of entries, for k = 0, 1, 2…, skipping repeats and entries that fail the eligibility rules above, each with its reason. We publish the full proof, and anyone can re-run it on the page.

Winners and claiming

Winners are announced on zerion.io/halloween and by @zerion on X, by shortened wallet address. Prizes are claimed in the Zerion Wallet app: the winning wallet gets a push notification and a pending claim in its history. To claim, add the winning wallet to Zerion Wallet on iOS or Android.

Zerion never DMs winners and never asks you to send funds, pay a fee or share a recovery phrase. Claims happen only inside the Zerion Wallet app.

Disqualification

We may disqualify entries made by bots or scripts, many wallets entered by one person, and entries that break these rules, and pick the next eligible ticket instead. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.

Your data

With each entry we store the wallet address, the signed message, the entry time, the campaign tags in the link you arrived from, and how you reached the form (time on the page, whether you knocked). We don't store your email or IP address. Cloudflare checks you're human and sees your IP at the edge. We keep entries only as long as the draw and the prize claims need them.

Everything else

Zerion may change or cancel the draw, or disqualify entries that break these rules.
