FAQ
Zerion offers a set of ApeChain API endpoints: transactions (onchain activity), token balances (ERC-20 and NFTs), DeFi protocol positions, and more.
With Zerion API, you can call the positions endpoint for any ApeChain address. The response includes native $APE, ERC-20 tokens, stablecoins, and even rebasing yield tokens, all normalized into the same format you’d get on Ethereum, Arbitrum, or other chains.
Use Zerion API's /transactions
endpoint with the ApeChain chain ID. Zerion API will return decoded transactions with contextual labels (trades, transfers, approvals), making it easier to display a clean history without parsing raw logs.
ApeChain supports a native bridge for both mainnet and testnet. Assets may move via bridges or canonical bridges depending on the token. Zerion API tracks transactions across 26+ chains so that bridging products can correctly represent balances and transfers on the origin and destination chains.
ApeChain is an Optimistic L3. Transactions are assumed valid and can be challenged. It uses a Data Availability Committee (DAC) to handle data availability. It inherits settlement and security from Arbitrum One which in turn inherits from Ethereum. There’s also a Security Council holding upgradeability / oversight powers.
Because of ApeChain’s short block times, dedicated throughput, and use of AnyTrust DA (which lowers cost vs full data posting to L1), gas fees are expected to be lower and more stable than many rollups. However, exact fees may vary with network demand. Zerion API can help by historical fee data.
Yes. Zerion API enriches raw balances with real-time pricing. A call to /portfolio
gives you a wallet’s full asset breakdown with USD values, including $APE, tokens bridged to ApeChain, and yield-bearing assets.
