MegaETH Network Snapshot
MegaETH is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 that pushes Ethereum's performance to real-time speeds. Based on the OP Stack, it introduces 10-millisecond mini blocks and 1-second EVM blocks, making it one of the fastest execution environments available today.
With a block gas limit of 10 billion per EVM block and near-zero base fees (0.001 gwei), MegaETH is designed for applications that demand high throughput and ultra-low transaction costs without sacrificing Ethereum's security guarantees.
MegaETH uses ETH as its native gas token and settles to Ethereum mainnet via validity proofs. This gives developers a familiar environment with dramatically improved performance.
Zerion API lets you query wallet balances, token positions, and transaction history on MegaETH through the same endpoints you already use for other EVM chains.
Key features
- Real-time execution: 10ms mini blocks and 1-second EVM blocks deliver sub-second finality for onchain applications.
- Ultra-low fees: A base fee of 0.001 gwei and 10 billion gas per block keep transaction costs near zero, even under heavy load.
- Full EVM compatibility: MegaEVM runs standard Ethereum smart contracts with minimal differences, so existing toolchains and contracts work out of the box.
- OP Stack foundation: Built on Optimism's op-contracts/v3.0.0, MegaETH inherits battle-tested bridging, messaging, and settlement infrastructure from Ethereum mainnet.

Use Zerion API's /wallets/{address}/positions/ endpoint to retrieve all token holdings for any MegaETH address. You can filter by chain to see only MegaETH positions, or fetch positions across all supported chains in one call.
Yes. Call the /wallets/{address}/nft-positions/ endpoint with a MegaETH chain filter. It returns all NFT assets held by the specified wallet on MegaETH.
No. Zerion API uses the same endpoints across all supported EVM-compatible chains, MegaETH included. The /positions, /nft-positions, and transaction endpoints all work with MegaETH addresses using the same request format.
You can create a webhook for any MegaETH address to receive alerts on new transactions. Webhooks can be scoped to MegaETH only or configured to listen across all supported chains.
