We are excited to announce that Zerion has begun a collaboration with Qtum! Zerion will be integrating with the Qtum platform and our services will now support Qtum smart contracts.

In July of 2017, Alex Bash — Zerion’s Chief Technology Officer — met up with members of the Qtum team during the BlockchainHack event in Moscow, where both companies were event sponsors and on the jury board. There, we learned more about Qtum and their vision for the future.

Qtum is an open source Blockchain project that is developed by the Singapore-based Qtum Foundation. Their product is a hybrid blockchain application platform, with technology that combines a fork of bitcoin core, an Account Abstraction Layer allowing for multiple Virtual Machines including the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and Proof-of-Stake consensus aimed at tackling industry use cases. We believe their approach will allow Smart Contracts and Decentralized Applications to run on a familiar foundation, while offering a robust environment for developers, and we are excited to integrate their technology into the Zerion platform.

At Zerion, we are always searching for new ways to collaborate with innovative and professional teams, and we are excited to begin building this relationship with Qtum.
