Zerion Alpha: Robinhood DeFi, Arc from Day One, Smarter Webhooks

September brought lots of new features and more teams building on Zerion API. Here's the rundown.

DeFi positions on Robinhood Chain

Day-one wallet balances on Robinhood Chain were step one.

Now /positions also returns DeFi positions there: lending deposits, LPs, staked and locked tokens, and unclaimed rewards across 18+ protocols, including Uniswap, Curve, Morpho, and Meridian.

Robinhood Chain positions show up in the same response and format you already use for every other chain.

Arc mainnet: Day-one support

Arc, Circle's stablecoin-native L1, went live on September 16, and Zerion API supported it from the first day. Fees are paid in USDC, and transactions settle in under a second.

Positions, portfolio charts, transactions, and webhooks all work on Arc through the same endpoints and schema you use for other EVM chains and Solana.

Webhooks: Failed transactions and filters

Failed transactions from smart-contract wallets now trigger webhooks, so you can tell users when something didn't go through.

You also get more control over what you get. Filter events by type, spam class, protocol, or address. And you can change filters anytime with PATCH.

Explore the updated webhooks docs.

Filter fungibles by asset class

/fungibles now supports asset_class and has_asset_class, so you can pull tokenized stocks, treasuries, or commodities as categories instead of guessing from names and symbols. Available with the RWA add-on.

See the updated fungible endpoint reference.

Mobula users: Migrate to Zerion API

fomo recently acquired Mobula. It’s a good moment to map an alternative while you can test it without rushing.

The guide maps Mobula's wallet endpoints to Zerion API one by one.

New case study: Pulsar shipped Arc on day one

Pulsar, a consumer fintech app for everyday spending, launched as an Arc day-one partner.

Instead of building an Arc indexer, the team extended its existing Zerion API integration and kept its engineering time on the product.

By integrating Zerion API, Pulsar launched on day one on Arc and captured the wave of early users.

New case study: Awaken Tax reduced vendor risk

Awaken Tax had already lost one data provider and was running two more to power a single product.

After three weeks of production traffic on Zerion API, the team moved all its wallet data volumes over, with a vendor-continuity clause and an annual request pool that fits tax season.

After testing it with production traffic, Awaken Tax moved all its onchain wallet data volumes to Zerion API.

Also shipped

  • Receipt quantities: receipt.quantity on LP and vault receipts in /positions
  • Cleaner positions: no_filter drops duplicate share-token rows
  • Stricter filters: /fungibles returns 400 for empty filters and unknown chains instead of guessing
