How Robinhood Chain became the hottest L2 of this summer
A chain built for Stock Tokens. Two months later, it was the busiest speculative token market in crypto, and the same wallets were doing both.
Inside the report
A read on Robinhood Chain's first two months built from real addresses active across Zerion's wallet, portfolio tracker, and CLI, not chain-wide totals inflated by farming.
- Why a brokerage L2 held the #1 trading spot across Zerion apps for 55 of its first 62 days
- What people actually held, and how the long tail beat Stock Tokens on positions while losing on people
- The 95% overlap nobody predicted between Stock Token holders and speculative traders
- Where these addresses came from, and the share that had never touched another chain

About this data
A new chain is only as usable as its data. Zerion API indexed Robinhood Chain from block zero, so every figure here starts at the first block rather than weeks in.
- Real addresses, not chain-wide totals
- Every figure comes from active addresses indexed by Zerion API for Zerion's own products: the portfolio tracker, the wallet, and the CLI.
- A sample, filtered of bots
- These addresses belong to people who opened a wallet, checked a portfolio, or signed a transaction. Farming bots and unnatural activity fall out naturally.
- Ratios over raw counts
- Because it's a sample and not a census, the study reports shares, ratios, and relative rankings. Those hold up at this scale.
